Is there anyone in your life that you desperately want to come to know Jesus... someone that you've been praying for a long time, sometimes it seems without any change? Well DON'T GIVE UP! That was the gist of our message today.. though Pastor Mark was much more powerful in his presentation and use of Acts 9:1-31.
His title was 'Write No One Off!' and he talked about how Paul was the worst of sinners yet God still worked and drew him to himself. How we are the worst of sinners... yet God still brought us unto himself.
We will never understand God's timing, we may never see the results of our prayers but that doesn't give us permission to grow weary and give up.
I've got a list of people that I pray will meet Jesus and give their lives to Him... today's message was powerful in reminding me not to grow weary, not to give up, and to take every possible opportunity to be a witness for Him.
I pray 2011 would allow me to see some of these people accept Christ, but if not, I won't stop praying. God is powerful!
